Samsung plans to expand its Galaxy AI support to mid-range Galaxy A devices starting with the 2024 models. According to information published by SamMobile, the first devices to receive Galaxy AI support will be the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55.
However, the exact release date for the One UI 6.1.1 update, which will enable Galaxy AI on these devices, is still unknown. Additionally, not all Galaxy AI features will be available on the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 – Samsung is likely to exclude those that require significant computing power.
Currently, the most affordable Galaxy device with Samsung's proprietary AI support is the Galaxy S23 FE. Although it lacks the instant slow-motion feature that was part of the original Galaxy AI package for the Galaxy S24 series.
“Samsung is making a significant bet on Galaxy AI, aiming to integrate these innovative AI tools into more than 200 million Galaxy devices, including phones, tablets, and wearables,” writes SamMobile.
