The developers of Telegram have released a major update for the messenger across all current platforms. This was announced in Telegram's blog.
Now, in the search section of the messenger under "Apps," users can find both existing and new mini-apps. Additionally, developers of these mini-apps can upload demo videos and screenshots to help users get acquainted with the service.
Mini-app users will also be able to create content for posting as "stories" in Telegram.
The built-in browser now supports collapsing and expanding pages from the bottom panel, as well as bookmarking pages. Another new feature is that the browser now supports viewing decentralized websites on the TON network.
Other features include the ability to gift other users the internal currency Stars, record video messages with a flash, set an animated weather widget in "stories," and choose a frame from published video stories as a cover.
