In second place is the emoji rolling on the floor laughing (ROFL), and the image of a red heart closes the top three. Next on the list are folded palms, a crying face, heart eyes, sparks, fire, a smiling face with closed eyes, and a smiling face with hearts.
Among the emojis introduced in 2023, pink face, shaking face and blue heart were especially popular.
According to Keith Broni, the dominance of positive emoji on the list of the most popular ones shows people's desire to maintain a positive attitude. He emphasizes that emoticons will not lose their relevance in the near future, remaining a powerful communication tool.
