There have been many glitches and bugs in Apple's online services this month, and one of them was spotted quite recently. According to posts from multiple Twitter users and 9to5Mac readers, their devices have started constantly asking for their Apple ID password. Even after entering it, the system indicated that authentication could not be performed.

“Why does my Apple ID randomly ask for my password? I don't think it's normal," complained one user on Twitter.

Other users have been unable to sign back into their accounts after signing out of their Apple ID. Someone's Apple TV+ subscription "disappeared", making it impossible to use the platform.

The Downdetector resource, in turn, also confirms that many users have had problems viewing content on the Apple TV app.

There is no information yet on how many users have experienced this issue. However, 9to5Mac noticed that if you search for posts about Apple ID on Twitter, it will become clear that most of the complaints about the problems come from Brazil and Japan.

The System Status page on Apple's website, which reports problems with the company's online platforms, does not mention any problems with Apple ID. According to the website, all of the company's platforms are currently working fine.

There is currently no information on how to fix this error: most likely, this is a problem that should be solved at the company's professional level, not at the user level.
