The base model iPhone 15 will get a 6.2-inch screen, which is slightly larger than the screen of the base model iPhone 14, reports 9to5Mac. In addition, real photos of the iPhone 15 have already been published online.

Data on the screen resolution and refresh rate of the iPhone 15 is currently unknown, but it is expected to be the same as the iPhone 14 models.

The iPhone 15 series of smartphones is expected to be introduced later this year. The lineup will likely include four models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The iPhone 15 Pro model is expected to be called the Ultra.

According to 9to5Mac, the iPhone 15 will also get Dynamic Island, which was first introduced in the iPhone 14 Pro model last year.

The iPhone 15 will feature a USB-Type C charging jack. Apple will keep the traditional two-camera combination for the standard iPhone 15 series. A third camera and LiDAR will apparently be available on iPhone 15 Pro models.

The source also mentions that the capacitive buttons previously reported will only be available on iPhone 15 Pro models, as the iPhone 15 will retain the physical buttons.

Gadgettendency.com published photos of the iPhone 15 prototype, which were provided to the media by an insider known as Unknownz21.

According to the source, the entire iPhone 15 lineup, including base models and Pro versions, will do away with the Lightning connector that Apple has been using on its phones since 2012. The new phones will have USB-C connectors to comply with new European laws.

Photos show the current iPhone 15 prototype, which Apple is codenaming "D37." The insider added that there are unlikely to be design changes.

Earlier, the same insider shared the first photo of the bottom of the iPhone 15 Pro, which showed the USB-C connector as well as the speaker area. The same insider had previously provided news outlets with internal company documents, which confirmed that the Wi-Fi 6E module would only be available in iPhone 15 Pro models.
