Tabibian Fund to award $1 million scholarship to Armenian IT students

Dr. Neshan Tabibian and Dr. James Hagop Tabibian of Burbank, California, have established the $1 million Tabibian Family Scholarship Fund.

The fund will provide scholarships to students from Armenia studying on IT courses.

According to Asbarez.com, the fund will be managed in cooperation with Knights of Vartan.

Starting from spring 2023 and each subsequent year, the names of the students applying for the scholarship will be provided by the science and technology departments of Yerevan State University and National Polytechnic University of Armenia.

Scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance and financial need. In addition, in order to receive the scholarship, the applicant must reside in Armenia for at least five years after graduation. Knights of Vartan will make a final selection after reviewing the applications.

The aim of the foundation is for the young generation to acquire high training and skills in the field of information technology, which will expand the technological capabilities of Armenia.
