Z50 Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition: Nubia launches flagship smartphone’s new variant for Year of the Rabbit

January 12, 2023  16:23

In honor of the Year of the Rabbit, Nubia has released a limited edition version of its Z50 flagship smartphone. The Nubia Z50 Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition is red with a golden rabbit image.

The Nubia Z50 flagship smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, dual camera, and 5000 mAh battery was released in December 2022. Initially, the phone was available in black, white, and green. Now—in red, too.

The new Nubia Z50 Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage—the standard variants also have 8GB of RAM and other built-in storage options—and costs around $445, which is quite a low price for a smartphone with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

As Thephonetalks.com informs, this smartphone runs on the latest version of MyOS 13, which is an operating system designed specifically for home mobile phones. Unlike other systems, MyOS 13 has no built-in ads. In addition, MyOS 13 is optimized for deeper hardware settings, making the phone even more energy efficient.

The smartphone has a new theme and a themed set of icons, too.

As for the other specifications, the smartphone, as already mentioned, has a dual camera: 64 MP (f/1.6, 35 mm (standard), 1/1.7", PDAF, OIS) and 50 MP (f/2.2, 14 mm, 116˚): (ultra-wide), AF), as well as a 16 MP selfie camera.

The Nubia Z50 Year of the Rabbit Limited Edition will be available to order from Thursday, but it is not known exactly how many devices the limited edition will include and whether it will be enough for everyone.
