Polestar, one of Tesla's competitors in the electric vehicle market, introduced its first smartphone, the Polestar Phone.

Many of the technical specifications of the new smartphone are similar to the Meizu 21 Pro: it is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and supports 80W fast wired charging, as well as 50W wireless charging.

The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.

What makes the Polestar Phone different from the Meizu 21 Pro is its user interface: the phone runs on Polestar Phone OS, which is a modified version of Flyme OS, which is a heavily modified Android-based UI without an app menu. The design elements of the phone's interface are largely similar to the user interface design of Polestar cars.

The Polestar Phone also has some artificial intelligence features such as image search, image generation and text retelling, which were previously found on some other smartphones. It also features Polestar Link to control Polestar electric vehicles.

The smartphone was launched in the Chinese market with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage and is priced at approximately $1,020.
