To create complex yet memorable passwords, you can use the technique with lines from your favorite songs. Information security specialist Yevgeny Baklushin shared this advice.
You can, for example, take the first letters of each word from a phrase and complete them with special characters and numbers.
According to Baklushin, it will be extremely difficult for a hacker to pick up such a password, and the costs of this will exceed the potential benefits. And it will take a lot of time -- about six months or even more.
As the specialist noted, a password composed in this way will also meet all the requirements: at least eight to 10 characters long, contain upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters.
However, it is not enough just to create a good password and use it everywhere. Firstly, it is recommended to change the password every six months, because on average this is the period required for attackers to guess.
In addition, it is not recommended to use the same password on different accounts.
