Wildberries will reduce commission for electronics sellers in Armenia

Starting May 24, the online marketplace Wildberries will reduce its merchant commission for local Armenian entrepreneurs who sell home appliances and electronics on the online platform. From now on, the minimum commission for these products will be 2%.

As the press service of the online store informs, the list of electronics includes: robotic vacuum cleaners, computers, game consoles, kitchen appliances – more than 500 products in total. In certain categories, for example, in the case of selling laptops and smartphones, the minimum commission will start at 3%, regardless of the model sold.

The press release of the company states that this measure will allow Armenian entrepreneurs to reduce their costs of doing business online in the market.

"As a result, they will be able to expand the range of appliances and electronics at an affordable price for the country's residents in the segment where currently the biggest lack of offers for buyers is felt. Ultimately, this will allow sellers to increase customer loyalty and increase their revenue,” Wildberries said in a press release.
