TikTok offers another way of making money: Popular effects creators are promised royalties

TikTok has another opportunity to make money: the social network launched the Effect Creator Rewards program and created a six-million-dollar fund with the same name that will pay royalties to users whose created effects become popular. However, although this feature is not yet available in all countries.

The Effect Creator Rewards program is currently only available in six countries: the US, France, Italy, Spain, the UK, and Germany. Will it appear in other countries, how will it develop and how will it be financed in the future? Nothing is known about all this yet.

TikTok content creators currently have several ways to make money. Recently, an opportunity was created on the platform to post exclusive videos with paid access and duration of up to 20 minutes. Up to 80 of them can be combined into a collection called a Series.

TikTok also recently announced the launch of a new program called Pulse Premiere, which aims to give users with a large audience the opportunity to earn from ads that will be shown immediately after watching the content they create.

After complaints from users, TikTok recently updated the Creator Fund program. From now on, creators of popular videos will receive increased payments for views. The Creator Fund program is open to creators over the age of 18 who have more than 10,000 subscribers and the total number of views of their videos in the last 30 days must be more than 100,000.
