A bank check signed by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 1976 has sold at auction for $106,985, 9to5Mac reports.

It is noted that the bank check is in "perfect" condition. The lot description states that a check in the face value of $175 was made payable to Crampton, Remke & Miller Consulting. The check, dated July 8, 1976, listed Apple's first official address in Palo Alto as 770 Welch Rd., Ste. 154.

Steve Jobs and the other co-founder of Apple, Steve Wozniak, used that address for postal services, although at the time all their operations were still carried out in the famous garage of the house owned by the Jobs family.

In addition, the business card of Steve Jobs, which was printed in the 1990s when he worked at NeXT company, is also up for auction. Since there is no signature on the business card, its price is much more "modest", starting from 800 dollars.

Earlier, the autograph of Steve Jobs was auctioned for 95,000 dollars. That lot was rare in that Jobs did not usually sign autographs and only did so on rare occasions.

The potential buyer was offered the billionaire's autograph in a thank-you letter dated 2000 addressed to the company's then-marketing director Suzanne Lindbergh, who had worked at Apple for ten years.

“This award recognizes those who have contributed to Apple's phenomenal success over ten years through personal achievement. Apple rewards you not only for your talent, enthusiasm and energy, but also for ten years of your creativity and career. We hope you will continue to believe, as we do, that travel itself is the best reward," the framed letter read.
