Oppo Find X6 Pro vs. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: Which camera takes better pictures at night?

The famous insider Ice Universe has published several photos taken with the cameras of the flagship smartphones Oppo Find X6 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, in which you can compare the capabilities of both cameras during night shooting.

Most flagship smartphones take roughly the same quality photos, and it usually depends on user preference. In this case, however, most of the photos on the Oppo Find X6 Pro have better quality, they are sharper and have better detail.

What is known about the cameras of Oppo Find X6 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra?

The Oppo Find X6 Pro currently ranks first in DxOMark's best camera phone ranking with 153 points.

It has a main camera with three sensors:

• 50 MP, f/1.8, 23 mm (wide), 1.0" type, 1.6 µm, multi-directional PDAF, laser AF, OIS;
• 50 MP, f/2.6, 65 mm (periscope telephoto), 1/1.56", 1.0 µm, 2.8x optical zoom, multi-directional PDAF, OIS;
• 50MP, f/2.2, 15mm, 110˚ (ultrawide), 1/1.56" 1.0µm, multi-directional PDAF.

The phone also has a selfie camera: 32MP, f/2.4, 21mm (wide), 1/2.74" 0.8µm, PDAF.

Recently, an update has been released for the Oppo Find X6 Pro camera, which improves the quality of photos when taking pictures at night. True, the update is not yet available to all users.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra ranks only 13th in the above ranking, sharing it with the Google Pixel 7 and the Vivo X90 Pro+. All three smartphones scored 140 points each.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra's camera also received an update earlier this month, and unlike Oppo, this update is available to everyone.
