Russian video hosting company Rutube has launched Rutube TV 24/7 streaming channel using Synterra Media’s cloud service. This was reported by Rostelecom’s press service.

Rutube TV is a new 24/7 TV channel that aims to attract the attention of young viewers interested in show business, provide opportunities for self-realization, and convey positive emotions.

“Rutube TV is a channel that will give you positive energy and inspiration. The broadcast includes lively show business news, success stories, entertainment programs, and Rutube Originals, created specifically for a young audience,” the company said in a press release.

Roskomnadzor registered the channel on October 7, 2024. It is expected that Rutube TV will soon receive a universal broadcasting license for distribution on cable networks.
