Until 2025-2026, artificial intelligence (AI) can partially replace therapists, Vice President of Strategy and Innovation of MTS, Executive Director of MTS Future Crew Innovation Center Yevgeny Chereshnev told RIA Novosti.

The expert noted that currently there are several scenarios for the use of AB in medicine. One of them involves the application of technology in organizing the basic filtering process of patients.

"Such services will ask the patient about his complaints, analyze the information, and then refer the patient to doctors. If the arm is broken, then to the trauma department, if there are vision problems, to the ophthalmologist. We will see the implementation of this technology in 2025-2026," said Chereshnev.

Earlier, the Boston-based company Perceptive presented the world's first robotic dentist, which was able to independently perform a procedure on the teeth of a living person under the control of AB. The robot created by Perceptive completed the usual tooth filling procedure in just 15 minutes instead of two hours, writes New Atlas.

The proposed solution has not yet been approved for clinical use, so robotic dentists will not yet appear in the arsenal of doctors. However, according to the website, it will happen sooner or later. At the very least, telemedicine is coming into play, and this is a straightforward way to build tools to perform operations remotely and teach them to AI-powered platforms.
