A new record has been set for artistic performance by drones in China. The Guinness Book of Records recorded the fact that 10,197 drones were taken into the air at the same time. The second record is the creation of the largest image in the air by a swarm of drones. The exhibition took place on September 26 in Shenzhen and was dedicated to the celebration of the regular anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China on October 1.

At the beginning of September of this year, a company from China took 7598 drones into the sky, which was an absolute record at that time. Before that, the record in this field lasted for four years, the number of drones in the swarm was 3191. The last record only lasted three weeks and it actually broke the new record. As in all previous cases, the huge group of drones was controlled by just one laptop.

With 10,000 drones in the skies over Shenzhen, the show spanned five days, with one show in each district of the metropolis. You can see footage of one of them in the video below.
