Fujitsu has released one of the world's lightest 14-inch UH-X/H1 laptops. According to IT Home, the new device weighs only 689 grams. The LTE version of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablet weighs almost as much (685 grams).

The device has such a light weight due to the materials used in its manufacture. The top of the laptop is made of carbon fiber, the bottom – of a magnesium-lithium alloy, and the keyboard – of a durable and lightweight magnesium alloy. The thickness of the new laptop is 15.8-17.3 mm.

Fujitsu UH-X/H1 is based on a 10-core Intel Core i7-1355U processor clocked up to 5.0 GHz. The laptop has 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, as well as built-in PCIe 4.0 NVMe memory of 512 GB. The laptop is equipped with a 14-inch screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The Fujitsu UH-X/H1 laptop has USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI, and Gigabit LAN connectors.

The Fujitsu UH-X/H1 will go on sale in Japan starting March 9. The novelty is priced at around $1,850.

In 2022 December, Asus introduced the new ExpertBook B9, which at the time was considered the lightest 14-inch notebook in the world. It weighs only 880 grams.

Its body is made of magnesium alloy. The laptop has a 14-inch Full HD screen (1920x1080), a 12th generation Intel Core processor, integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics combined with 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM, and an SSD drive with 1 TB or 2 TB of storage respectively.

The structure of the computer body allows you to tilt the screen 180 degrees. The screen is also touch-sensitive and when working in this mode can act as a numeric keypad.

The price of the Asus ExpertBook B9 will start from 1800 USD, depending on the modification.
