Lightweight and durable: TECNO unveils its first foldable smartphone

Smartphone and smart device brand TECNO has published a concept photo of its first foldable smartphone PHANTOM V Fold. The novelty will be presented at the end of the month during MWC 2023. The company also provided some details about the new phone.

The PHANTOM V Fold has a unique folding mechanism technology that makes the phone resistant to drops and mechanical impacts. This also ensures that the mechanism parts won't break or jam.

The smartphone's components are made of materials used in the aerospace industry, making the PHANTOM V Fold durable and lightweight.

The photo shows a block of three camera modules. According to the company, the smartphone will get a system of five high-quality cameras to create flawless pictures. The black hue shown in the photo will be one of two possible colors for this flagship device.

TECNO previously reported that the PHANTOM V Fold will feature a high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ processor.

The PHANTOM V Fold will be officially unveiled in Barcelona on February 28, 2023 at Mobile World Congress.
