iPhone 15 and 15 Plus to have new camera: What is known about next iPhones?

Insider Shrimpapplepro reported on his Twitter page that the base models of the iPhone 15 will have a new camera. However, the insider did not disclose other details.

According to Gsmarena.com, it is likely that the basic iPhone 15s will get a 48-megapixel camera, which is now used in the iPhone 14 Pro model.

Earlier, there were rumors circulating online that the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will get 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens, respectively. According to these rumors, the novelty will also get the new Dynamic Island, which is used in the iPhone 14 Pro, as well as the USB Type-C connector.

As for the Pro models, it could be the 6.1-inch iPhone 15 Pro and the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max or even the iPhone 15 Ultra. It is expected that Apple will do away with flat edges for these models: these phones will have rounded edges.

The iPhone 15 will be the first Apple smartphone to use USB-C instead of the Lightning connector, but it will require a cable certified by the company to charge the device.

According to Ross Young, analyst and founder of research firms Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, all models in the iPhone 15 series will be nearly identical, and the new series will likely include four models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15. Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra.

There have also been rumors that the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature Apple's 3nm A17 chip, which will have significantly improved performance and power efficiency over Apple's A16 processor.
