Getty Images and OpenAI strike deal to bring licensed content to ChatGPT

Getty Images has announced an agreement with OpenAI to integrate its licensed visual content into ChatGPT’s search and research capabilities. The partnership aims to enhance the visual component of AI responses and make them more informative, AI Weekly reports.

According to the company’s statement, Getty Images’ libraries will be utilized to display content within ChatGPT’s search and information discovery features. This will allow users to receive answers enriched with professional photography and other visual assets from the licensed collections of one of the world’s largest visual content providers.

Craig Peters, CEO of Getty Images, emphasized that high-quality licensed visual content plays a vital role in the evolution of search tools and artificial intelligence.
