Meta launches paid Plus subscriptions for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp

Meta has officially announced the global rollout of paid subscriptions for its major platforms. Users can now subscribe to premium versions of Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

These subscription plans had previously been tested in a limited number of countries. Meta is now beginning a broader rollout, although availability will expand gradually depending on the region.

What Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus include

The main focus of the subscriptions is expanded Stories functionality, including:

• Stories that remain visible for up to 48 hours instead of 24
• Advanced view statistics
• Anonymous viewing of other users’ Stories

Subscribers also receive:

• Additional interface customization tools
• The ability to change Facebook and Messenger app icons
• Exclusive animated reactions

WhatsApp Plus

Meta has not yet revealed the full list of WhatsApp Plus features. However, the subscription is expected to include enhanced privacy tools, higher usage limits, and additional functions for both business and everyday communication.

At the same time, Meta has begun testing a new lineup of premium plans for its Meta AI services. The plans include:
