Redmi K60, K60E and K60 Pro: Xiaomi introduces new Redmi K60 series

Xiaomi has revealed a new series of Redmi K60 smartphones, including the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K60E.

All three smartphones have flat 6.67-inch OLED displays with a resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 480 Hz. The rest of their specs, however, are different.

Redmi K60 Pro

Redmi K60 Pro is the most advanced model in the new series, moreover, it is the first smartphone from the Redmi family, which received wireless charging support: 5000 mAh battery capacity can fully charge in just 19 minutes. The wireless charging capacity is 120 watts, the wired charging capacity is 30 watts.

It is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip platform.

There is a triple camera on the back:

- A 1/1.49-inch Sony IMX800 50-megapixel main sensor with optical stabilization,

- 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module,

- 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography.

There is also a front camera for selfies with a 16-megapixel sensor.

The back panel of the Redmi K60 Pro is made of glass, but there is also a K60 Pro Champion Performance Edition, whose back panel is made of Kevlar.

Redmi K60

The Redmi K60 also supports wireless charging, but with less power. The battery capacity is 5,500 mAh, the wired charging power is 67 watts and the wireless power is 30 watts.

The Redmi K60 runs on the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip.

Triple camera installed into the device:

- The main 64-megapixel sensor with optical stabilization,

- 8-megapixel sensor,

- 2-megapixel sensor.

The resolution of the front camera, like the older model, is 16 megapixels.

The rear body panel of the Redmi K60 is also made of glass, but there is also a model in which the panel is covered with leather.

Redmi K60E

Redmi K60E is the most affordable smartphone from the new series.

The device is equipped with an 8-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip clocked at 3.1 GHz and a Mali-G610 MC6 graphics accelerator.

The smartphone's main camera includes:

- 48-megapixel sensor with optical stabilization support,

- 8-megapixel sensor,

- 2-megapixel sensor.

The resolution of the front camera, however, is more than the previous two models – 20 megapixels.

The smartphone runs the MIUI 13 shell, while the older models use the newer MIUI 14 interface.
