Elon Musk, the head of SpaceX, has expressed interest in sending an expedition to Mars to study a mysterious object that was discovered in NASA’s images. A photograph of the enigmatic structure, which went viral online, has sparked a lot of discussions.
Some believe the object could be of artificial origin, while others, like well-known host Joe Rogan, argue that it is a natural formation.
Experts are still unable to explain the origin of the discovered square structure, but conspiracy theorists see it as possible evidence of an extraterrestrial civilization. The structure measures around 235 meters, which is comparable in size to the Great Pyramid of Giza. The use of artificial intelligence to analyze the data suggested that the object's tilt could be similar to the tilt of the pyramid, at approximately 51.5 degrees.
The image was taken by the Mars Orbiter Camera and is available for viewing on the Mars Image Explorer platform. Although square and rectangular shapes can occur naturally, for example, on the Tasman Peninsula in Australia, where mosaic pavements formed due to shifts in the Earth's crust and erosion, Musk is confident that only a direct investigation of the object can provide definitive answers.

Despite the failure of the seventh test flight of the Starship rocket, Musk continues to insist on the necessity of sending humans to Mars. He emphasized that each Starship launch is a step toward fulfilling his dream of Mars colonization.
Musk also reaffirmed his intention to make humanity a multi-planet species, stressing the importance of this step for the survival of civilization. He also expressed concern about declining birth rates, believing that this could pose a threat to the future of our planet.
With each step, SpaceX and Musk are getting closer to their ambitious goal—Mars colonization, which could become a significant milestone in human history.
