Apple to update smart home and TV devices in 2025

At the end of 2025, Apple will introduce updated versions of the HomePod mini 2 and the next-generation Apple TV. According to insider Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the release of the devices is expected between September and November, reports MacRumors.

Part of a new smart home strategy

These new products will be part of Apple's ambitious smart home strategy. In 2025, the company also plans to release:

• The first full-fledged home hub.
• Intercom with Face ID.
• Video surveillance system.

HomePod mini 2:

• New S-series chip for improved performance.

• Additional color options for the case.

Next-generation Apple TV:

• New A-series chip, more powerful than the A15 Bionic.
