WccfTech: Nintendo Switch 2 will be revealed in January 2025

Well-known insider NateDrake shared an update on the Nintendo Switch 2's reveal date and estimated release date in his latest podcast. This is reported by the publication WccfTech.

Commenting on the rumors of a June release for the system that have been circulating in recent days, the insider mentioned that the industry has been discussing a late May to June release date. While there is some uncertainty, partners and publishers see this as the beginning of the system release.

NateDrake was unable to confirm the exact release date for the Nintendo Switch 2, but said that an event for the system is scheduled for January 2025. The nature of the event remains unclear, but it could be similar to the one held in January 2017, when Nintendo invited the media to check out the original Switch.

If the Japanese company were to stick to a similar timeline, the Nintendo Switch 2 could indeed be announced in January.
