Adobe has released updated versions of Photoshop and Premiere under the Elements brand that now include improvements powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Available at a lower price, the programs are designed for editing images and video and offer an alternative to an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.
Each program sells for $89.99, with a bundle of the two costing $129.99.
The updated Photoshop includes AI features that make photo editing easier. Users can now change the color scheme of images, combine multiple photos, add a depth-of-field blur effect, and remove unwanted objects.
Premiere Elements also received new tools, including a simplified timeline and the ability to group audio and video tracks. A new quick access menu makes it easier to use tools. Users can lock tracks to prevent accidental changes, apply unique text styles to titles, and export video to multiple locations at once. Improved file import process with new media browser.
