WhatsApp to get a new useful feature soon

WhatsApp developers are planning to add a new feature that will allow you to block messages from unknown users.

As reported by WABetaInfo, this feature was spotted in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android 2.24.17.24. It allows users to automatically block messages from unknown interlocutors if their number exceeds a set threshold.

The purpose of the innovation is to protect users from unwanted and potentially dangerous messages, as well as spam. Currently, WhatsApp already uses automated tools to detect and filter suspicious messages and mass mailings. The new feature will provide users with an additional level of protection, allowing them to block messages from unknown accounts in advance. This will help minimize the risks associated with phishing and infection of the device with malware.

It should be noted that the function of blocking messages from unknown numbers is under development. It is not yet known when it will be available to all WhatsApp users.
