Asus introduced the new ExpertBook B9 laptop, which, according to the company, can safely be called the lightest 14-inch laptop in the world. It weighs only 880 grams and its body is made of magnesium alloy.

The laptop features a 14-inch Full HD (1920x1080) screen, a 12th-generation Intel Core processor, Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics combined with 16GB or 32GB of RAM and an SSD drive with 1TB or 2TB of storage, respectively.

The case structure allows the screen to tilt 180 degrees. The screen itself is also touch-sensitive and can act as a numeric keypad when operated in the appropriate mode.

The laptop has a 66Wh battery, which allows it to run for up to 16 hours without recharging. It also has a webcam with a protective cover, Harman/Kardon speakers, as well as speakers with noise-canceling technology. The laptop also has USB Type-A, Thunderbolt, HDMI, RJ45 (micro-HDMI) and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The price of the Asus ExpertBook B9 will start at $1,800. The novelty is already available for sale on the U.S. market.

In September the company introduced the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702), which became the world's first notebook with a folding screen. The resolution of its 17.3-inch screen is 2560x1920 pixels, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a disclosure angle of up to 180 degrees. The part that connects the two parts of the laptop is designed for 30,000 cycles of opening and closing.

In China, the laptop costs $2,800.
