Galaxy Watch FE. Samsung release budget yet powerful smartwatch

Samsung has released the Galaxy Watch FE, a budget alternative to its flagship models, according to SamMobile.

The Galaxy Watch FE is available in a single case size of 40mm with a 1.2-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 396x396 pixels, protected by sapphire glass. The watch is powered by the Exynos W920 processor, has 1.5GB of RAM, and comes with 16GB of internal storage.

Notable features include a 247mAh battery, NFC for contactless payments, and the OneUI 5 Watch operating system based on Wear OS 4.

The watch includes heart rate monitoring with abnormal value alerts, ECG measurement, body composition analysis, and various sports modes. The case is protected according to IP68, 5ATM, and MIL-STD-810G standards.

The new Galaxy Watch FE (Bluetooth) will be available for $200, while the LTE version will be priced at $250.

On July 10, the Galaxy Unpacked event will feature the unveiling of new foldable smartphones from Samsung, a smart ring, and the Watch7.
