Google collected people's personal data for years, even recording children's voices

For several years, Google has collected personal data of users and even recorded children's voices. This was reported by the 404 Media website, referring to Google's internal database.

According to the data presented in this database, between 2013 and 2018, Google employees recorded thousands of cases of storage and use of users' personal data. For example, one incident involved the storage of users' emails without the users' knowledge.

In addition, the documents mention the disclosure of Waze users' addresses, the display of recommendations on YouTube based on deleted browsing history, and the declassification of the email addresses of more than one million users (including children) in the educational app Socratic.

A Google spokesperson confirmed some of the reports to the Daily Mail, but clarified that the reports were out of date, as they were compiled six years ago.

Let's remind that four years ago, a lawsuit was filed in the USA against Google's parent company, Alphabet Inc. The corporation was accused of spying on users of various apps, even when permissions were turned off. Data collection was carried out even when the Internet browser was used in incognito mode.
