iOS 18: What to expect from new version of Apple's operating system?

The announcement of a new version of Apple's mobile operating system, iOS 18, is expected very soon, and more and more information about it is becoming available every day. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman recently shared his predictions for the updates that users can expect in iOS 18.

According to Gurman's post, iOS 18 will not only bring new AI-powered features, but will also update many standard apps such as Photos, Mail, Notes, and Fitness. For example, the Calculator application will receive a number of new features and will appear on the iPad for the first time (and we have been waiting for this for 14 years), as it will also be included in iPadOS 18.

iOS 18 is expected to be one of the biggest updates for the iPhone in recent years. Developers will introduce not only new functions to the OS, but also changes to the user interface. According to Gurman, iOS 18 will allow users to arrange app icons in a random order, rather than being limited to a grid, as was previously the case.

Gurman said the design changes will make apps more "modular" and "easier to customize and update."
