Astrophotographer captures mysterious flying object near Moon (photo)

During the latest Moon shoot, the renowned German astrophotographer Sebastian Voltmer captured an unidentified flying object (UFO) above the satellite's surface and couldn't offer any logical explanation about the origin of the mysterious artifact in the image. This was reported by the Daily Star.

According to Voltmer, the UFO flew past the lens quickly while emitting a bright glow. Because of the high speed at which the mysterious object was moving, it is poorly visible in the image. Nevertheless, the picture suggests that the UFO has a triangular, conical, or pyramidal shape.

Initially, Voltmer speculated that his photo captured a satellite or the ISS. Later, this version was dismissed because neither usually flies past the moon so quickly.

Another version suggested a meteor, but it was also rejected because the object lacked a characteristic attribute - a tail. The speed at which the UFO was moving also casts doubt on this version. Additionally, the International Meteor Organization has no records of any falling stars at the time of Voltmer's shooting.

"Voltmer also rules out the presence of flies or dust near the lens and believes that, judging by the focus, the object must have been at a distance of more than 500 meters. To be more precise, the photographer believes that the UFO flew past Earth at an altitude of 100 to 200 km," writes the Daily Star.

It is most likely that the astrophotographer caught some space debris in the lens. However, he is puzzled by the absence of other reports from sky watchers in this version.
