YouTube Premium introduces Playables: You can now literally play the game on YouTube

Google has rolled out a new experimental feature, Playables, for YouTube Premium subscribers, giving them the ability to play games directly on the YouTube platform, bypassing the installation process.

The Playables section, available on both the YouTube website and the mobile app for Android and iOS, offers a wide range of games from various genres, including puzzles, racing and arcade games. The initiative is primarily focused on “games that are easy to share.” One of the first games presented was the famous Angry Birds: Showdown from Rovio Entertainment.

YouTube Playables list includes 37 games such as Scooter Extreme, State.io, Brain Out, Daily Crossword, Daily Solitaire, 8 Ball Billiards Classic, Crazy Caves, Color Pixel Art, Carrom Clash Color, Burst 3D, Stack Bounce, Cannon Balls 3D , Basketball FRVR and Cube Tower.

The experiment will run until March 28, after which the feature is expected to become permanent as the range of available games expands. To participate in testing, you must subscribe to YouTube Premium and pass the YouTube screening process.
