Long-awaited feature: Windows 11 to allow you to remove unnecessary built-in programs

Users of the Windows 11 operating system will be given the opportunity to remove built-in applications and programs that they do not need. According to the WindowsLatest portal, in the beta version of Windows 11 for developers, with build number 23585, a function for deleting the Photos and Camera applications was discovered.

Previously, Microsoft has already removed applications such as Movies & TV and Maps from Windows 11. Tips, WordPad, and Cortana are also expected to be removed in future releases, but specific timing for these changes has not been announced.

Experts believe that Microsoft is aiming to provide users with more options to remove unused applications, which in turn can improve system performance. For users who don't use all of these apps, this is great news.

Let us remember that in the summer of 2023, Microsoft stopped officially supporting the Cortana voice assistant on the Windows 10 and 11 operating systems. This year, it was also announced that a new built-in assistant would appear in Windows 11, based on artificial intelligence GPT-4 and called Copilot.
