At this week's Lenovo Tech World event, amidst several intriguing innovations, Motorola unveiled a prototype smartphone with a 180-degree foldable screen that can transform into smartwatches when needed.

Lenovo presented this device as a concept of a "smartphone with an adaptive screen" that can change its form to meet the user's requirements. The gadget's flexibility allows it to fold into stylish smartwatches, which can be comfortably worn on the wrist.

According to Lenovo's official statement, "The concept of an adaptive display allows it to be used as a standard Android smartphone when unfolded, as well as a wristwatch or a vertical stand in multiple modes."

As per the available information, the smartphone is equipped with a flexible OLED display supporting Full HD+ resolution. In its unfolded state, the device resembles a regular Android smartphone with a 6.9-inch screen. However, when the user transforms it into a watch, the device automatically switches to a specialized mode, displaying information on a 4.6-inch screen.

Lenovo has been diligently exploring the construction of smartphone prototypes with flexible displays that can be worn on the wrist. Nevertheless, there is currently no official information regarding whether this showcased innovation will make its way into mass production. Lenovo continues its pursuit of innovation and experimentation with new ideas to cater to the needs of its consumers.
