American resident Amir Nurani went through an incredible adventure, losing his Apple Watch Ultra while swimming in a lake. Three months later, he discovered that the gadget was still functioning. This remarkable story is reported by the 9to5Mac portal.

Nurani, who resides in Los Angeles, faced the loss of his expensive watch during his vacation at Lake Travis in Texas, known for its various water activities. The incident occurred while he was scuba diving, and the silicone strap of the Apple Watch Ultra came loose at a depth of approximately nine meters. Nurani quickly realized that his watch had disappeared, but his attempts to find it were in vain, even after hiring a professional diver.

Almost giving up hope, Nurani activated the "Find" mode on his iPhone in hopes of good fortune. This mode automatically notifies the person who finds the lost watch about its owner, facilitating communication. However, the incredible return didn't happen within a few days, as he had hoped, but after a whole three months.

"Three months later, I received a call informing me that the watch had been found. My brother met with the diver and retrieved them," Nurani shared.

According to him, the watch was covered in mud and silt, and after being retrieved from the lake, it wouldn't turn on. Nevertheless, thanks to a prolonged charging session, the gadget "came back to life." Nurani expressed his gratitude to Apple for their outstanding engineering solutions that allowed the watch to withstand such extreme conditions.
