Users of the new iPhone 15 Pro are facing more and more problems. They recently discovered problems with screen burn-in on a new smartphone. In addition, some have complained of burns received while using the device.

iPhone 15 Pro screen burns

Right after the release of the iPhone 15 Pro, some users encountered screen burn-in issues after just two weeks of use. iOS keyboard afterimage remained visible from any angle, and unfortunately, this defect does not seem to be fixable.

iPhone 15 Pro features an impressive 6.1-inch LTPO-Super-Retina-XDR-OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a resolution of 1179 by 2556 pixels. The main cause of burn-in for such displays is displaying static images for long periods of time. Manufacturers usually use image shifting techniques to prevent this problem, but that didn't seem to help in this case.

It's worth noting that this problem only affects some users, and it may be related to the way they use smartphones. But in any case, the problem causes serious concern among the owners of this model.

Apart from the screen burn issue, iPhone 15 Pro owners are also complaining about burns received while using the device. Burns appear both on the fingers with which users hold the smartphone, and on the thighs - due to overheating of the device in the pocket.

Apple has announced its intention to solve the overheating problem of new smartphones. According to them, the cause of the heating is unoptimized third-party applications and the iOS operating system. Apple stressed that the problem is not related to the A17 Pro's titanium frame or chip, and that the new body materials are even better at dissipating heat. Interestingly, the overheating complaints did not affect the base iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models.

It is not yet known when Apple will release an iOS update that will fix these issues.
