Ray-Ban together with Meta introduce new smart glasses։ What features does it have?

The Ray-Ban company introduced a new generation of smart glasses, the Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses model, which was created together with the Meta company.

The glasses have received a 12 MP camera (shoots in 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second), which is embedded in the right part of the frame, and on the left side there is a symmetrical LED, which notifies the surroundings about the recording in progress.

Small speakers and five microphones are integrated into the "wings" of the glasses, which allow you to listen to music, make voice calls and record. The volume of the speakers has increased one and a half times compared to the previous generation accessory.

The new product, which received water protection according to the IPX4 standard, has a Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 processor and 32 GB of built-in memory, and the glasses work for up to six hours on a single charge (or up to four hours in Facebook or Instagram live video streaming mode if working).

The glasses’ case serves also as a charger, just like the wireless headphones, and can charge the Meta Smart Glasses up to eight times on a single charge.

Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses will go on sale on October 17, 2023. The price of the new smart glasses will start at $300, depending on the type of frame and lenses.

Ray-Ban Stories, the first smart glasses in the history of Ray-Ban, were presented in the fall of 2021.
