A game about James Bond can be a worthy continuation of the Hitman trilogy. We've seen more than mediocre James Bond games so far, and therefore many gamers have high hopes for this one.

The development of the game was announced at the end of 2020, but since then no one has seen or heard anything about it. It will probably take the IO developers another year or two to complete the work.

IO's official website states that Project 007 will be a "completely original Bond story," or rather, the story of his origin.
