Top 20 videogames of the first half of 2023

The aggregator of journalistic reviews Metacritic has summed up the first half of 2023 and ranked the 20 best video games of the season.

The first place went to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Nintendo Switch. This game received a score of 96 out of 100.

In second place was another Nintendo exclusive, the remastered Metroid Prime, with a score of 94 out of 100.

And the third place was taken by a remake of Resident Evil 4, with 93 points out of 100.

The top 10 also included:

• Street Fighter 6 (92 points out of 100),
• remake of Dead Space (89 points out of 100),
• Final Fantasy XVI (88 out of 100),
• Theatrhythm Final Bar Line (87 out of 100),
• Hi-Fi RUSH (87 out of 100),
• Diablo IV (87 out of 100),
• Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (85 out of 100).
