The base models of iPhone 15 series will get the Pro model camera

The base versions of the new Apple iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus smartphones will get the same 48-megapixel camera as the more expensive Pro models, MacRumors portal reports, citing Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu.

It is expected that the new triple-layer 48-megapixel sensor will be able to absorb a large amount of light, which will significantly improve the quality of photos. However, according to Jeff Pu, if Apple makes such a decision, it may lead to a delay in the production of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. At the moment, the presentation of the company's brand new phones is scheduled for September 2023.

Jeff Pu also claims that due to "design issues", the iPhone 15 Pro models will not get the special touch buttons on the side for adjusting the volume. However, the analyst is still confident that the Pro models will be equipped with a titanium frame, an improved A17 Bionic chip and increased RAM. Also, all four models of the iPhone 15 series will be equipped with a USB-C port instead of the usual Lightning.

NEWS.am Tech reported earlier that iPhone 14 Pro users in China complain that the battery can swell during normal use, as a result of which the screen begins to tear from the phone case. Users sent the smartphones to the service for replacement, but in most cases the service did not replace the phones with a new one, only fixed the swelling problem and did not give any details about the battery.
