Use strong password

Set a strong passcode or use biometric authentication, such as facial recognition or fingerprint scanning, to secure your phone. Avoid using simple or common passwords, such as "1234" or "password."

For creating strong passwords, there are even special generators that can be used to create passwords for user accounts of different services, in addition, you can also make your own changes in the proposed password. Such services include Norton, Passwordsgenerator.net, Avast, etc.

Keep your operating system and apps up-to-date

Make sure your phone's operating system and apps are updated regularly. These updates often include security patches and bug fixes that can protect your phone from potential threats.

Install antivirus software

Install a reputable antivirus app on your phone to protect it from malware and other malicious software. There are many such antivirus programs, you can find their list here.

Be cautious when downloading apps

Only download apps from trusted sources, such as the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Be wary of apps that request excessive permissions or ask for access to sensitive data, such as your contacts or location.

Use public Wi-Fi with caution

Be careful when using public Wi-Fi networks, as they can be vulnerable to hackers. Avoid logging into sensitive accounts or entering personal information when using public Wi-Fi, and consider using a virtual private network (VPN) to encrypt your connection.
