Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, good cameras and battery, IP68 protection։ Motorola presents Edge+ (2023) flagship smartphone

Motorola has introduced its Motorola Edge+ (2023) flagship smartphone, which has quite interesting specifications. It has a number of advantages over the Pixel 7 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, and costs less at just $800.

As reported by GSMarena.com, the smartphone is based on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 single-chip platform, the battery is quite large with a capacity of 5100 mAh, with support for 68 W wired and 15 W wireless charging.

The AMOLED screen with a frame rate of 165 Hz is also worthy of attention. The diagonal of the screen is 6.67 inches; the resolution is 2400x1080 pixels. It also has support for HDR10 + technology and Dolby Vision, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. Gorilla Glass Vectus protect the screen on both the front and back.

The main camera of the device has three modules։

  • 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/1.55" 1.0 µm, multi-directional PDAF, OIS;
  • 12 MP, f/1.6, (telephoto), 1/2.93", 1.22 µm, PDAF, 2x optical zoom;
  • 50 MP, f/2.2, 114˚ (ultrawide), 1/2.76" 0.64 µm, AF.

The front camera has a 60 MP sensor.

The phone also received IP68 protection։ this is a standard that assumes that the device in question is completely hermetic; small particles (dust) or moisture cannot penetrate the body.
