iPhone 15 Pro to have touch buttons for adjusting volume: New photos posted on internet

March 21, 2023  12:13

A Twitter user named ShrimpApplePro has posted a new rendering photo of the iPhone 15 Pro, where the volume buttons are clearly visible, reports 9To5Mac, citing insider ShrimpApplePro as a reliable source.

It is noteworthy that, unlike previous iPhones, the new model has a single volume button instead of two separate buttons. Apart from that, next to the volume control button in the render photo, another button can be seen, which is probably for muting the volume. This button will also apparently be touch-sensitive.

There is another interesting detail in the photo that caught the attention of 9To5Mac. It's about the camera block part. The website notes that it won't protrude much from the phone's body, as it does in the case of the iPhone 14 Pro and older models.

9To5Mac added that the base models of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will get mechanical volume and power buttons.

Earlier it became known that the  iPhone 15 Pro will have a main USB-C instead of a Lightning connector, and the curvature of the edges of its glass and frame will change: the glass will be slightly curved around the edges, providing a smoother transition to the frame, which will also be more curved than on previous models. Thanks to this, holding this smartphone can become more comfortable.

In addition, it was reported that the iPhone 15 Pro will get an updated display design, with thinner bezels. The screen will also be brighter compared to the previous ones.

The release of iPhone 15 series smartphones is expected in September.
