You can show it your own version and ask not for a full rewrite but for identifying weak spots and providing targeted edits.

After its initial response, you can ask follow-up questions and gradually deepen your understanding.

The neural network can work with files. This is particularly useful when reviewing lengthy instructions, contracts, reports, or collections of notes. For important documents, it is best to cross-check the conclusions against the original text.

This mode is suitable for news and rapidly changing information, but the presence of links does not guarantee accuracy—sources should still be verified independently.

Additionally, Claude can create documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs. Certain materials—text, diagrams, code, or even interactive tools—it formats as Artifacts, which can be conveniently refined directly within the conversation.

The service's main advantage is the ability to handle compound tasks in a single window. You can upload materials, request analysis, discuss findings, and immediately receive a ready-made file. The approach works best when you clearly specify the goal, audience, constraints, and desired response format.

Claude has "skills"—specialised modes that simplify routine tasks. For example, one skill helps compile morning briefings with weather, exchange rates, and to-dos; another is tailored for learning and tries to guide users toward the correct answers rather than simply providing a ready-made solution. The list of skills is constantly expanding.

Claude Code – A Tool for Developers

Claude Code deserves a separate mention. This is not just a chat mode but a specialised tool for programmers. It can examine a project's codebase, locate related files, suggest and implement changes, run commands and tests, and assist with debugging.

A developer can ask it to find the cause of an error, explain an unfamiliar project, or add a new feature. The tool can perform multiple related steps, but all changes should be reviewed and verified. Simple projects can sometimes be created even without programming experience—an approach sometimes called "vibe coding."

Claude Code is not included in the free tier and requires a Pro, Max, or separate Claude Console account.

How to Get Started and How Much It Costs

First, check whether the service is supported in your country. Russia is not currently on Anthropic's official list of supported regions, and the interface does not support Russian. The company does not guarantee stable operation of accounts from unsupported countries.

In supported regions, Claude can be accessed via browser or through apps for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android. On the Free and Pro tiers, the Sonnet model is used by default.

The free plan is suitable for getting acquainted but has limits on the number of messages. The Pro tier costs €15 per month (or €180 when paid annually). The top-tier individual plan, Max, is offered at €90 per month. Prices and limits are subject to change, so it is best to check them on the website before paying. A Russian bank card cannot be used directly for subscription payments—foreign cards or intermediary services are required.

The chat subscription and API are separate products. The API is paid separately and is intended for those integrating Claude into their own applications.

Limitations and Security

The main limitation is the possibility of factual errors. The neural network may confidently invent details, sources, or quotations. It is particularly risky to rely on it for health, legal, financial, or security matters without additional verification.

The models have a knowledge cutoff date, so some recent events are unknown to them. Web search partially addresses this issue but does not eliminate the need to open and review links yourself.

Privacy should also be handled with care. Before sending personal or commercial information, it is advisable to review the privacy settings and avoid uploading sensitive data unnecessarily.

Who Will Benefit from Claude

The service is useful for those who study, write texts, work with documents, or program. It effectively speeds up preparatory work—helping to understand a topic, gather structure, see options, and obtain a draft. However, the quality of the final result always depends on the human user—on how precisely the task is defined and how thoroughly the answer is checked.
