Starlink will provide 100 terminals to the Government of Armenia. The equipment will be installed in a number of general education schools located in high-altitude and hard-to-reach areas, where internet connectivity is particularly limited, Minister Mkhitar Ayrapetyan announced today, February 16.
In addition, Starlink will cover the cost of internet services for these terminals for one year, ensuring stable access to the internet without placing additional financial burden on the state budget.
The Minister emphasized that this initiative has important social and educational significance, as it will significantly reduce the digital divide between regions and provide equal access to educational resources for students in remote communities.
