According to the latest rumors, Microsoft plans to release three more games in 2025, which have not yet been announced. This is reported by Multiplayer, citing the words of well-known insider Nick Baker. Baker assures that he got this information from three unnamed but reliable industry sources.
As of now, five upcoming Xbox games are already known to be on the horizon, including Avowed, The Outer Worlds 2, South of Midnight, DOOM: The Dark Ages, and Fable. However, the list of anticipated releases isn't limited to these projects. Other games that could see the light of day in 2025 include State of Decay 3, Clockwork Revolution, Gears of War: E-Day, Perfect Dark, Everwild, Marvel's Blade, The Elder Scrolls VI, Hideo Kojima's OD, Contraband, and others.
In addition, a new game in the Call of Duty series is expected to be released next year. Thus, 2025 promises to be a busy year for fans of games on the Xbox platform.
Previously, Nick Baker was the first to announce that Sony plans to release Ghost of Tsushima on PC, development of Dark Souls 3 remaster and creation of Halo: Combat Evolved remake.
