AppQuantum, the European manufacturer of mobile games, is leaving Russia once and for all. The company is moving the remaining employees and contractors in Russia to its office in Cyprus, as well as to its new offices that have opened in Armenia and Kazakhstan.
So far, there is no detailed information on how many employees will be transferred to Armenia and exactly when it will happen – but such information will probably be provided later. The opening of this company's office in Armenia could create new opportunities for cooperation with local programmers and other specialists.
The company will offer a remote collaboration format to those employees who decide to move to a country where AppQuantum does not have an office. In fact, they can work from anywhere in the world.
The company informs that the process of transferring employees was carried out gradually, no one was in a hurry, and everyone was given time to prepare for moving abroad. There are no longer any legal entities affiliated with the company in Russia.
Founded in 2017, AppQuantum develops mobile games that have been downloaded by more than 100 million users worldwide. Among the most popular games of the company are Dragon Champions, and Gold & Goblins: Idle Merger. The first brought in $1,000,000 in revenue 29 days after release, and the second brought in $7,000,000 in revenue three months after release.
