Xiaomi has introduced a new Note 12 series smartphone in China, the Redmi Note 12R Pro, which has quite interesting characteristics for its price, Gizmochina.com reports.
Redmi Note 12R Pro has a 6 nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor up to 2 GHz and an Adreno 619 graphics accelerator. The volume of LPDDR4X RAM is 12 GB, and the built-in memory is UFS 2.2 and is 256 GB.
The phone has a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400×1080 resolution) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The rear panel houses a primary camera with a 48-megapixel sensor, complemented by a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography. The resolution of the front camera is 16 megapixels.
Specifications also include: 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, IR sensor, GPS receiver, NFC chip for cardless payments, USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The fingerprint scanner on the side is used to unlock the Redmi Note 12R Pro, the smartphone runs on Android 13 OS with MIUI 14 interface.
The smartphone meets the IP53 standard for protection against moisture and dust. The dimensions of the device are 165.88×76.21×7.8 mm, and the weight is 188 g.
The Redmi Note 12R Pro is available in China in black, white, and gold, priced at 1,999 yuan (about $289).
