Xiaomi is known for its smartphones, many of which have a good price-quality ratio. However, not all of the company’s smartphones are worth the money spent, as the authors of the online publication “Executioner” claim. They have compiled a list of five smartphones that are not worth buying. It includes the ultra-budget Xiaomi Redmi A3, the balanced but overrated Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S, as well as the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. The Poco F5 smartphone and the Xiaomi 13T Pro sub-flagship also received a lot of criticism.
In first place on the list was the Xiaomi Redmi A3, which the editors rated only for its appearance. However, the slow MediaTek Helio G36 processor, limited and slow eMMC 5.1 memory, poor screen quality and weak cameras made it an unattractive choice.
Second place went to Xiaomi Redmi Note 12S, which, despite its balanced characteristics, was considered overpriced due to its cost - about $170. As an alternative, the editors suggested Infinix Note 30 Pro.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G came third on the list, mainly due to the weak MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which supports camera sensors up to 108 MP and therefore cannot fully exploit the potential of the 200 MP camera.
The Poco F5 smartphone, in turn, has been criticized for its price, especially in comparison with the new Poco X6 Pro, which has more advanced characteristics and is cheaper.
The sub-flagship Xiaomi 13T Pro also did not go unnoticed. The smartphone has received some criticism for its high price compared to the base 13T model, although this price is not justified by the characteristics.
